Martin B. Schmitz

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University. 

My current research agenda is focused on examining how changes in knowledge access affect follow-on innovation.

My broader research fields are Applied Econometrics and Empirical Microeconomics. I am particularly interested in the Economics of Innovation, Urban Economics, and Economic History.
